Purpose

Another crucial part of creating the ideal room or house is remembering the purpose. This is important as the type room as well as its function are a huge factor in deciding the appearance and decor within the room itself. For example, a bedroom will not have the same function as a kitchen and will therefore, include different furniture, color schemes, and possibly mood. This is because their functions are completely different. While a bedroom may need a calm mood as it a place to relax, a kitchen may be vibrant and welcoming as it is common meeting place. In addition, bedrooms will include basic furniture such as a bed, desk, dresser, etc. Meanwhile, kitchens will include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, etc, which is yet another result of the rooms’ varying functions.

Organization

One of the most important factors towards a dream room or even house is organization. A neat room will seem more attractive and clean to the eye. To achieve this look, include shelves and fashionable boxes or crates as well as furniture used for storage. Avoid clutter and unnecessary items in the room as they will make the room look too busy. However, do not be afraid to include decorations as they add a unique touch to the room that is as equally important as organization.

If soft colors and backgrounds are what you want, then the antique bedroom is for you! However, to avoid a bland room, incorporate other brighter colors to make certain aspects pop. Bedroom Week!

For every bedroom you decide to decorate, there are three main points to think about: Mood, Function and Personality.

With mood, color pallette is extremely important. The color of the room is the first thing people look at when they step into a room. For a blue palette, the mood portrays a more modern, royal, and intelligent mood.

If you are looking for a more bright mood oranges are a good option. Deeper oranges can also portray a soothing autumn like feel.

For a styler looking for a more mature and natural feel, greys are the option for you. Do not forget that more pale and light the colors are, the better paired with a bright pop of color.
